FAQ

When will my order arrive?

Please allow 1-3 business days for order preparation. Personalized items might fall out of this window.  I usually ship via USPS first-class or priority mail. Please note the processing time on each individual listing; made-to-order listings have longer processing times (usually 2-6 weeks), because I am making the items from scratch. I will do my best to provide you with your tracking information asap. If you need to make arrangements for special shipping, please contact me and I'll see what I can do.

How long does it take to hear back from customer service?

We are working from home, with weekends off. Please be patient while waiting for a response to messages, sometimes up to 48 hours. For weekend messages, we will try to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Do you do custom work?

Yes, we do- However, we do custom work in between our regular orders, and only a couple projects at a time, so our custom slots fill-up fast. If you want something custom, you will likely be put on our waitlist. The timeline for the waitlist will vary depending on our workload.

  • “Send us a detailed email about what you want- If you have examples, please include photos”.
  • “All custom pieces are handcrafted from start to finish using high- quality leathers, hardware, and durable, waxed thread.
  • We work with each customer on a personal level to make sure we get your project just right- we want this process to be fun and exciting for you.
  • Photos and updates of your leather piece will be sent to you throughout the process.

Can I personalize my item?

It is possible on some items. If you would like some initials, a name, or anything else added to your item, please contact us and we will see what we can do. Not all items are customizable, but we will do our best to accommodate.

How should I take care of my new leather item?

  • Please keep in mind; genuine leather needs to be broken in. This will take time and regular use of your piece. You will notice when first receiving your piece that it is quite stiff; with regular use it will begin to break-in within a matter of weeks.

  • Natural darkening of your piece is to be expected. Over time, oil from your skin, moisture, and daily wear begin to set into your piece and you will notice the leather develop a natural patina. This is perfectly normal and to be expected!

  • I highly suggest keeping your leather dry and away from complete water submersion. Structurally,  the leather itself will be able to withstand natural elements, however; the shape and paint of your piece may begin to disfigure & fade more rapidly if it is often exposed to water. Moisture added to leather can speed up the darkening process and shorten the lifespan of the product.

  • It is recommended to occasionally use a clean cloth with a small dab of olive oil or leather conditioner to gently rub on the leather piece to keep it shiny, conditioned, and the colors popping!

What do the kits come with?

Please carefully read the description of each kit. Some of the kits will require tools, which need to be purchased separately.
