This one-of-a-kind handmade leather bag is the epitome of the marriage of stylish and durable! This art piece is composed of rugged oil-tanned, crazy-horse leather, and hand tooled (and painted) vegetable-tanned leather patch. It has been meticulously hand- laced using the highest quality kodiak leather lacing. Fringe is a mix of soft buckskin and textured goat leathers- in earthy-brown and honey tones.

The front has a medium-sized pocket that closes with a magnetic snap. The interior features a zippered pocket, as well as a pocket for a phone, or other small items. This bag will never be recreated quite the same and is seriously a highly useful, durable art piece!

Dimensions are approx.: 19" wide X 13" Tall X 4" Deep (At bottom), tapering to 2" Deep (top). Protect your investment! All of our bags now come with a complementary bag-hanger so that you never have to put it on the ground while out-and-about. This small hanger folds up into a compact size, and then opens to fit onto the side of a table. Very convenient!

Bag hangers also sold separately here: https://www.etsy.com/LotusLeatherStudio/listing/1045279196/handbag-hanger-foldable-purse-hook-purse?utm_source=Copy&utm_medium=ListingManager&utm_campaign=Share&utm_term=so.lmsm&share_time=1627577895050

For 1 week only- Use Code "BEEYOURSELF" for 25% off on all honeybee items! 5% of all sales will be donated directly to the OREGON BEE PROJECT (oregonbeeproject.org):

Initiated in 2017, the Oregon Bee Project is a cooperative effort between the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA), the Oregon State University (OSU) Extension Service, the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF), and a diverse set of stakeholders who are actively engaged in caring for our bees. Together these collaborators and supporters are launching several initiatives to maintain and enhance bee health in Oregon.

The Oregon Bee Project has a mission of:

“Bringing together Oregonians around a science-based strategy for protecting and promoting wild and managed bees through education, pollinator-friendly practices, and research.”

  • Interviews, bee collection, and farming practice assessment at select Flagship Farms
  • Advisory committee meetings with interested stakeholders
  • Regular e-newsletter with updates about pollinator activities and projects around Oregon
  • Curation workshops for bee enthusiasts to aid statewide survey efforts to develop the Oregon Bee Atlas
  • Tabling at relevant agricultural events

This project is funded in part by a USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant and a FFAR Pollinator Health Fund Grant.

Please note that our processing times are longer than usual as we focus our energies on preparing for live events we will be vending at this summer.

All bag orders will be started after July 31st. Smaller items, such as jewelry, etc. may get done sooner if we can manage to fit them into our production schedule. If you need something in a hurry - please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Thank you for understanding.
